Cement: usually used for GRC:
AR alkali glass fiber
The cement of the cement, low alkalinity sulfur aluminate cement, ordinary Portland cement, white silicate cement.
Fiber: GRC materials used in the fiber must be alkali-resistant glass fiber, species including alkali glass fiber roving, alkali resistant glass fiber chopped yarn, alkali resistant glass fiber grid cloth. Glass fiber used in the European and American countries for GRC zirconia content not less than 16.5%, China's requirements when using ordinary Portland cement zirconia content not less than 16.5%.
Polymer: the commonly added polymer is propionate, acrylate copolymer.
Admixture: usually can be selectively add high efficiency water reducing agent, plasticizing agent, retarder, early strength agent, antifreeze, rust inhibitor admixtures, such as: when the products contain steel reinforced material or steel embedded parts, shall not be used calcium chloride base of admixture.
Other materials: selectively add some volcanic ash active materials to improve the overall performance of GRC products, such as strength, anti-permeability and durability.
Production process:
Enhanced glass fiber has many kinds of type, GRC production technology. Such as chopped fiber yarn, continuous fiber roving, mesh cloth, short cut fiber blanket, etc., of different types of glass fiber mixed into cement matrix method is different, the same type of glass fiber mixed into cement matrix in the method is not entirely the same. And the addition of fiberglass and the way of use of glass fiber have a great effect on the mechanical properties of reinforced concrete composite materials. It's formed a variety of glass fiber reinforced cement composite material production process, such as injection technology, premixed jet technology, premixed casting process, injection molding process, and net process, winding process and so on. Each production process has its own characteristics, which are applicable to different products, and of course the equipment used is different.
1, the injection process
Spray technology is the earliest and most widely used method of making GRC products, including manual injection and automatic injection. In the early 1970s, the British institute of architecture (BRE) first used this method to make fiberglass reinforced concrete (GRC) products. Whether by hand injection or mechanical injection, the jet craft requires specially trained operators and specialized equipment. The correctness of the operation method affects the strength and durability of GRC products. For the injection process, the glass fiber in two-dimensional random to random distribution in cement mortar, high effective utilization of fiber, physical properties of product is better also.
Premix:
Premixed process is cut short glass fiber and cement mortar matrix mixing together, form a uniform glass fiber cement mixture, then made by the method of casting or injection products. According to the different methods of molding, the premixing process can be divided into premix and pre-mixing process. The pre-mixing process is similar to the process of prefabricated concrete products.
